Who we are

Independent equipment supplier for New Mexico crews

Denca Equipment LLC focuses on one clear job: putting the right piercing-tool Basic Package in your hands—and helping you keep it running. We are not the manufacturer; we are your local source for sale, rental, and repair on the 65PK through 95PK kits.

About Denca Equipment

Why contractors choose piercing tools

Trenchless horizontal boring with a small crew footprint—a practical alternative to a full directional drill on the right short crossings.

Stepped-cone accuracy

A reciprocating stepped-cone / chisel head helps the tool hold course and push through minor obstacles in displaceable soil.

Aim, shoot, reverse

Level it in the launch pit, feed lubricated air, and reverse with a quarter turn of the hose when you need to back out.

Pull pipe while you bore

Configure the job to pull conduit or fiber duct in the same pass—under driveways and short roadway crossings with less surface repair.

Learn the basics

How a Basic Package works

A pneumatic piercing tool (impact mole) punches a horizontal hole through soil—no long trench. Air from your compressor passes through the in-line lubricator, then drives the tool under the obstacle.

Air → lubricator → tool → trenchless bore. Not to scale.

Where the job allows, these Basic Packages can also be set up for trenchless pipe pulling (PVC, HDPE, and similar)—pulling product behind the tool as it bores. Ask us what adapters fit your run. We focus on 65PK–95PK Basic Packages for sale, rent, and repair—not a separate pipe-bursting product line.

  1. 1

    Dig two small pits

Open a launch pit and an exit pit. Use the magnetic starting level so the tool is aimed true.

  2. 2

    Air drives it forward

Lubricated air feeds the tool. An internal piston hammers the stepped-cone nose, compacting soil aside.

  3. 3

    Break through & reverse

The tool travels pit to pit under the driveway or road. A quarter-turn of the hose reverses most tools in this class.

  4. 4

    Pull in your product

With the right adapters, many crews configure the Basic Package for trenchless pipe pulling—PVC, HDPE, and similar product—often in the same pass. Backfill two pits, not a long trench.

When soil conditions allow, pit-to-pit pierces of up to about 150 feet can be economical. Ask us about your run length.

Choose the right tool

When to use a piercing tool

These Basic Packages shine on short, straight crossings in displaceable soil. Use this quick guide before you request a quote.

Good fit

  • Under driveways and sidewalks
  • Short road and alley crossings
  • Fiber drops to homes and businesses
  • Short gas, water, power, or irrigation service runs
  • Tight easements where a big rig can't set up

Consider larger HDD instead

  • Long runs or runs that must steer around curves
  • Solid rock or heavy cobble
  • Precise depth or grade requirements over distance
  • Product diameters beyond these four models

Not sure? Describe the job and we'll tell you honestly if a Basic Package fits.
